The cable is not worth getting. Had it for several months now, properly maintained, and put away, and it's already breaking. Unless your life depended on this cable, don't get it. If you have the Rocksmith 2014 pre Remastered version, just get a regular USB guitar cable and download the no_cable fix.

• If you still want to follow the instruction, look for a Rocksmith 2014 torrent from late 2013 with update 3 and patch files included. The video was made for Rocksmith 2012. Rocksmith 2014 is available fro over a year now, and many of my viewers begged me to update the video for the newer Rocksmith.

I tried disabling all other inputs in the sound section of my control panel and even tried listening to my own guitar outside of the game(it works albeit with slight latency issues). However, when I enter the game, there is no input from the guitar at all and it even stops working when I tab out of the game(I've tried enabling exclusive access and without it) and the guitar will stop working as an input device even after I close the game.

At that point, I would have to reinsert my guitar link to get it to work again. Any help guys? I've tried looking at the sidebar and even googling about it.
